The Muggs

This band, along with The Black Keys and The White Stripes, gives hope to an otherwise ill-fated rock scene. The album rocks in the true spirit of AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Humble Pie, etc. In other words, The Muggs know how to play rock and roll. It is a great mix of fast, melodic boogies and rib cracking, driving jams. Detroit has it's first act to be proud of since Ted Nugent.

1. Need Ya Baby
2. Gonna Need My Help
3. Rollin' B-Side Blues
4. Monster
5. Should've Learned My Lesson
6. White Boy Blues
7. Hard Love
8. Said and Done
9. Underway
10. If You Please
11. Doc Mode

Wow, I feel ashamed. I'm from an hour north of Detroit and I've never heard of these guys. Thanks for the great share!

I love ACDC, I love Led Zep and that's why I downloaded this, as you mentioned them in the albuminfo. Now I may also love The Muggs!! Haven't had the time to listen alot to it, but they are tight and kickin', and if they are coming to my part of the world, I will absolutely be there!
Thanks!!
Andy
