Love Battery - Day Glo

What can I say about this Seattle band. One of my FAVORITES these days. Check em out. Leave a comment.

Love Battery is an American psychedelic rock/grunge band from Seattle, Washington. For the most part Love Battery was an unusual group in the early 90's Seattle music scene. Blending intense swirling psychedelic guitar work, pulsating rhythms, driving beats and heartfelt vocals derived from '60s garage/psych, '70s punk rock, '80s post punk and '90s grunge, their music was significantly more complex than most of the music associated with that era. Although they never achieved the commercial success of many of their contemporaries, they nonetheless retained a fervent cult following that continues to this day.

FOOT
I'm going upside down
My sixes are nines
Infinities a sideways eight
Don't ask me to grow up
I'm doing just fine
Hard to get it straight
I know there's nothing
I can tell you how to live
Don't feel like talking now
I'd like to meet you
If you made up your mind
Please don't make me wait

I saw a disenchanted
Don't wanna stick my foot in
Don't wanna take the chances
Don't follow blind

I had a teacher
And he started to crash
I came and knocked on sorrow's gate
I picked up pieces
As he laid down the lines
All believers have to wait

And if you ever leave me
Don't walk away just screaming
With your head into the gound
With your head into the gound!

I saw a disenchanted
Don't wanna stick my foot in
Don't wanna take the chances
Don't follow blind

That's wrong

I saw a disenchanted
Don't wanna stick my foot in
Don't wanna take the chances
Don't follow blind

GLO

I'm grabbing this, because your offerings are among the best! I've discovered several excellent artists off your blog, BMSR, Medusa Stone, Black Diamond Heavies, etc. In fact, I'm listening to Betty Davis right now!

Great work!
