So a good friend calls me up. Says " Wino I have a free ticket to Rick Derringer and The Edgar Winter Group, ya wanna go?"...at first I'm thinking. This is going to be a haphazard concert in an effort to shake out the few dollars I have in my pocket these days. The garden-variety classic rocker in his post 50 years, playing the one or two hits they had 30 years ago. But I said yes. FREE is one of my favorite words. So I pulled some cash out from the ATM for beer money headed straight from work, to the local pub for my end of the week, Friday pint - o Guinness and waited for my buddy. ...I have three words...EDGAR FREAKIN ROCKS!!!!...his guitar player is powerfully practiced. Slash meets Townsend meets Zack Wilde!!! Great night.
...thanks for the ticket man. A man who owns two of the most musically qualified ears, north of the USA....Tedder!
